Pools & Hot Tubs

Pool Rules

• • All entry to the pools must be through the change rooms.

  • All swimmers and hot tubbers must shower before entering the pools and hot tubs.

  • Food is not permitted on the pool deck.

  • Glass containers are not permitted on the pool deck.

  • Drinking in the hot tubs or pools is prohibited.

  • Running on the pool deck is prohibited.

  • People are not permitted to save chairs or loungers in the pool area.

  • Towels that are left unattended on the chairs or pool deck for 30 minutes will be moved to the lost and found.

  • Loud, boisterous behaviour and inappropriate language or any behaviour that is otherwise offensive is prohibited.

  • External speakers or the playing of music is not permitted other than the use of personal earbuds or headphones.

  • Large flotation devices such as air mattresses and other inflatables exceeding 2 feet in length and/or width are not permitted in the pools and hot tubs. Smaller flotation devices such as life jackets, pool noodles and water wings are permitted at the discretion of Cottages’ staff.

  • No toys, balls or other items smaller than 4” are permitted as they can get caught up in the pool filtration system and cause damage.

  • No skateboards, scooters or other recreational transportation devices (except wagons) are permitted on the pool deck.

  • All Fraser Health Regulations must be obeyed.

  • No one under the age of 19 is permitted to be in the lap pool between the hours of 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

  • No person shall throw, toss, or otherwise project any balls or similar objects within the Strata Pool area. This includes, but is not limited to, objects such as basketballs, footballs, volleyballs, water polo balls, inflatable balls, or any other type of ball, regardless of the size or material. The prohibition extends to the entirety of the Strata Pool area, which includes the swimming pool, and its surrounding deck.
